Captain’s Crew member, Jan is a
KORE Therapy Consultant, Aromatherapist and Reiki Practitioner. She is professional in her practice and maintains her membership with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. Captain’s Crew Member Jan’s background is nursing; qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1988 and gaining experience in cardiology and respiratory specialities. She retired from nursing in the millennium after spending some years in the Further Education environment and followed her dream to manage her own business.
Jan has been providing expert therapeutic aromatherapy treatment since qualifying in June 2012. From 2016 she has been practising the Myofascial Release Technique which is integrated into a massage to release tension in the fascia (the connective tissue) to improve balance in muscles and joints for correct posture. Jan has attained Reiki Practitioner. February 2019 she expanded her massage skills to cupping, specialising in musculoskeletal assessment, Amno Fu, Cranial Balancing and in November 2020 completed her Diploma in KORE Therapy Consultation.
